Latinx Advisory Committee

The Latinx Advisory Committee was established to improve our reach within Connecticut’s increasingly growing Latinx communities. “Latinx” is used instead of Latino and Latina to promote gender inclusion.

The Latinx Advisory Committee is a partnership with local and statewide Latinx leaders, service providers, and advocates. This group of leaders help to guide and inform the development of short-term and long-term collaborations within Latinx communities, especially Spanish-speaking communities. The group recently collaborated with The Alliance on the creation and dissemination of our new “If It Doesn’t Feel Right, It May Not Be Right” materials and several public service announcements that were played on radio stations throughout Connecticut.
