The Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence and our partner the Connecticut Department of Public Health held a Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) event at the Legislative Office Building on April 18th which showcased materials and information to help the public identify sexual violence, offer support to survivors, and prevent sexual violence. Our new poster, which captures current data about the cost, impacts, and prevalence of sexual violence in the state of Connecticut, was debuted at this event and can be downloaded here.

Throughout the month of April, The Alliance its member programs, are raising awareness about sexual violence through hosting SAAM events across the state. A listing of our events and programs can be downloaded here. We hope that you will join us!

Our new posters and stats were also featured in a recent article on CT by the Numbers.
