Frequently Asked Questions:
How does the CT Safe Bars Chapter partner with hospitality staff?
Hospitality partners are invaluable to the CT Safe Bars Chapter! The CT Alliance to End Sexual Violence welcomes hospitality partners to the train-the-trainers program hosted by Safe Bars HQ and provides gift cards to hospitality partners who complete the full training.
Once hospitality partners complete the train-the-trainers program, we ask that they co-facilitate at least one Safe Bars Active Bystander training alongside prevention educators from Alliance Member Centers. Hospitality partners are provided an honorarium for each training that they co-facilitate.
What is required of CT Safe Bars Chapter Members?
Each member of the CT Safe Bars Chapter must complete the train-the-trainers program, facilitate at least one training annually, and actively participate in CT Safe Bars activities. We ask members to join quarterly meetings to stay up-to-date, discuss challenges, and celebrate successes.
