Survey on Offender Sentencing, Registry and Management

The State of Connecticut Sentencing Commission, Special Committee on Sex Offenders has created a public input survey for Connecticut residents—including those who are victim/survivors of sexual assault and those who support them—to share their concerns and needs related to: the sentencing of sex offenders, the management and supervision of sex offenders who re-enter the community on probation or parole, and the State of Connecticut Sex Offender Registry.

The survey itself should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. To maximize participation, please post or distribute this information to your networks. Survey responses will be accepted through June 2, 2017.

Any identifying information collected in the survey will be kept confidential. Responses will be compiled in a summary report which will assist the committee in making recommendations to the full Sentencing Commission in late 2017 regarding the sentencing and supervision of sex offenders.
