In 2026, The Alliance will host a 4-part series on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention & Intervention. This series is designed for parents, caregivers, and anyone who works with children. By the end, participants will feel more confident recognizing concerns, responding safely, and creating environments where children can thrive.
Registration required. Please note that sessions are designed to be sequential and will build on information discussed in previous sessions. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions.

Part 3: Dynamics of Disclosure and Responding to Disclosures of Child Sexual Abuse
This session examines reasons why children may not disclose abuse, as well clear steps to take if a child shares a concern or if you suspect abuse. Participants learn how to respond in a supportive, non-judgmental way, how to keep a child safe in the moment, and how to report concerns to the proper authorities. Guidance is practical and specific so adults know what to do—and what not to do—when a child needs help.
